We are happy to have Callie Krebs from Serene Equine join us on the farm to offer different services to the Columbia Valley. Callie recently graduated from Olds College as a certified Equine Massage Therapist. She is currently taking online courses for Registered vet technician as well as working at a local vet office to continue her studies.
Callie prefers English riding but has knowledge of the western riding as well. She has competed in various shows in Calgary and focuses on horsemanship and riding with the horse being first priority. Callie has a love of horses and has been teaching lessons at Serenity Farm for 4 years. She currently has a waitlist for lessons but is happy to talk with families about riding goals and getting added to the list. Callie has two horses in her program and is very grateful for their help with offering this program.
At Serenity Farm we are happy to be able to offer a horsemanship program where children ages 12 and under will learn the basic of horse care, grooming and light riding.
This summer we will play games, do an art activvity each day, gardening basics and learn how to care for farm animals.
